Basing their findings in F1 and bridging this gap to the consumer, Pirelli was able to come up with a high-performance road tyre with similar fundamentals to that of its motorsport counterpart.
Fast forward to 2017 and the innovative development of the P Zero continues. Pirelli have issued not one, but two new tread patterns. One design targeting high performance sports cars and the other luxury saloon vehicles. The sports car version of the tyre suits high end OE manufacturers such as Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini and the M division of BMW, while the luxury saloon version is suitable for regular high-end marques, such as Audi and BMW.
